For the second consecutive season, Texas age group triathletes had the opportunity to race a refreshingly fast and furious double super sprint formatted triathlon. Taking place at the MSR Houston race track, triathletes completed each of the disciplines two times through. The bike leg took place on the motor race track while the run was completed on the karting track. Following the completion of the individual race was a relay event called, Relay Challenge, featuring teams of two or three in which athletes raced in front of the grandstands filled with spectators.
